your gift makes a difference

Our students comes from all over New England, with a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds, unique points of view, and aspirations. SFD is their first step on the path to their dream of becoming a fashion designer. Fashion design takes hard work and commitment, and they need our support to succeed. SFD students rely exclusively on the generosity of our alumni and friends in the community to provide scholarships, student experiences, and outside the classroom support.

We ask that you please consider an unrestricted gift to support SFD students.

There are several giving areas outlined below, all of which go directly to supporting SFD students learning and experiences. You can choose which opportunity best supports your giving priorities. We deeply recognize and appreciate how much of our achievements are made possible by the generosity of our contributors like you. Together, we can help prepare the next generation of fashion professionals!

Double your impact with a matching gift from your employer!

Did you know that many New England companies will offer matching gifting to an employee’s charitable donations? If you work for any of these companies, ask your HR department how you can double the impact of your charitable gift to SFD!

Thank you so much for your support.

The School of Fashion Design is a Section 501(c)3 nonprofit, and your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Our tax ID is: EIN-04-2037931.

We are grateful for in kind community partners like Copley Place - Simon Malls. SFD works with Copley Place to fill their temporarily vacant storefront windows with dynamic displays featuring the work of talented SFD students and alumni. Student dressing Bostons Make Way for Ducklings duck statue

Boston’s famous Make Way for Duckling statues have never looked more fashionable! We were honored to be invited to collaborate with local designer Ameera Hammouda on her “Quack to School” fashion installation. Together, we draped and dressed Boston’s iconic ducklings in looks inspired by Ameera’s “Ardelle: collections, named for a Gloucester schooner and paying homage to maritime cultures of east and west. For this “Quack to School” collaboration, SFD student designers Dylan Braun and Mina Hirzel worked under the guidance of instructor Lisa.
