Teen Fashion Clinic

your fashion education begins here

Our program specifically for high students provides an introduction to the fashion design process, from conception to garment completion. The curriculum is a taste of SFD’s adult certificate program and is actually taught by our accomplished alumni.

Students will leave the clinic with basic skills in pattern making, fashion sketching, and sewing, as well as an illustrated capsule collection of their design and a simple garment that they sewed themselves. On the final day students will present their capsule collection and garment to family and friends, and receive a certificate of completion.

The teen clinic takes place at the School of Fashion Design in our regular sketching and sewing classrooms.

If you are interested in fashion and sewing as a hobby or are considering post-secondary fashion degree programs, this is the program for you!
