cultural movement designed to re-program a precious natural

After ten years of serving our community, the force behind
fashionWEEK Boston recognizes the need for a strategic
change in how to best nurture and celebrate fashion talent
in New England.
This new approach is
guerillafashion. The traditional model for surviving as an
artist and thriving as a business - in the local fashion
industry, has become outmoded and irrelevant. Fashion is now
about a complete lifestyle - and this lifestyle is about
information, innovation and communication.
Thanks to
limitless technology and passionate community spirit, the
time has come for the cultural re-programming of a precious
local resource - the fashion professionals who live and work
in New England. Pioneers on the local fashion scene have
undertaken an ambitious plan to engage the future of fashion
head on!
Whether you simply wish to be a witness to this next wave,
or have the desire to roll up your sleeves and help lead the
way, this introductory one night event is your ticket. The
forum begins with a seminar which will pose the big
question - Who and what will be the next defining force in
fashion throughout New England?
The discussion will then explore key elements in this
evolutionary process.
