AWARD
WINNING COMMUNITY SERVICE! |
|
It takes over a million dollars a day to run the
St. Jude Hospital
and their research.
This is why Denise Hajjar does the ‘Big Dreams Start
Small’ fundraiser every year. This year the event
received the,
‘Volunteer Group of the Year’ award. The
event has raised over 1.1 million dollars for the hospital.
The award was presented by Marlo Thomas, her brother
Tony Thomas and the entire board of governors, with
over 1,100 people in attendance. “I spoke to the audience
and thanked them for this huge honor. I told them that I’ve
always dreamt of doing a big event combining beautiful
fashion & celebrities to introduce a whole new audience to
St. Jude’s important work”. |
